The process of collaboration and bouncing ideas off one another is what I find most powerful and inspiring when turning a concept into a beautiful, well executed design. 

On the personal side, I married the love of my life, Chris, in March of 2018. Both born and raised in Texas, we’ve settled down just outside of Houston with our yellow lab, Tank. When I’m not obsessing over paper “feels” or cutting and staining wood, you can find me on the pathways in my running shoes or grabbing tacos and a margarita with the friends.

Working collectively as a team has and always will be a part of my life — from training for a race to devising an overall concept in projects and daily tasks. The name, The Design Track, originates from my passion for all things design and running. I believe there are many similar factors in preparing for a race and working on a design concept — planning ahead, hard work and time, support from your team and staying motivated to reach your goal.

How did The Design Track start?

The Design Track officially launched in 2018, however I’ve been designing professionally for over 10 years. With a graphic design background, experience working for a branding agency, and designing for companies in-house — I’ve learned a lot about people, design and the industry. As for designing for weddings, it all started when I volunteered to help with my brother’s wedding stationery. Not too long after, I designed for my sister’s wedding, then her friend, then my friend, then a friend of a friend — you see where this is going. I love what I do, connecting with others, and getting to know your love story!
