What should I bring for our meeting?

Inspiration! If you already have a Pinterest board, colors, paper samples, etc. — those are all helpful. Feel free to bring along your support group too! I will send you a list of questions to review before me meet, so we can go from there. We can discuss ideas, brainstorm your style and just talk timeline and wedding details!

Do you offer delivery?

Yes! Delivery for anything purchased with me will be $1 per mile from the shop in The Woodlands, TX. So whether you’d like to meet half way, need me to drop off the night before, or would like to pick up yourself – there are plenty of options the allow for your items to arrive on time and undamaged.

How do I schedule an appointment?

When should I order wedding invitations?

After your Save the Dates, it’s time to start on your formal invitations. Your invitations are mailed 8 - 6 weeks before your wedding. Ideally, we should begin 2 - 3 months prior to allow time for us to create, order, assemble and mail to your guests.

When do I need to have the final guest count?

If we’re working on a custom seating chart or place cards, as long as we have the selected materials, your final list needs to be ready 1 - 2 weeks prior. I understand that changes happen close to the wedding date, so I will try to make everything as easy and stress free for you as possible.

What’s the difference between custom and personalized?

Fully custom invitations are completely customized to you and your wedding. The custom invitation process can take 2-3 months and on average costs $2,200 for 100 invitation sets.

Personalized invitations are pre-designed and have options for you to customize the colors and embellishments. The timeline for personalized invitations is about a month from start to finish and have an average cost of $600 - $1,000 for 100 invitation sets.

THE PROCESS

Working with a custom wedding invitation designer is actually a freaking blast. There is nothing like seeing your paper dreams come to life.

FIRST STEP: Gathering Details
Your wedding vision, aesthetic & colors
Your hobbies, interests & favorite activities
Your relationship & engagement story

SECOND STEP: Mood Board & Sketches

I will create a Mood Board for you that will contain your color scheme and design inspiration. You'll review this & give me your approval to move forward with the design process. OR if you want to use different colors, different inspiration images, or change up anything in the design, then we'll make those adjustments before moving forward.

THIRD STEP: Design Process (My favorite part)

First we'll start with sketches. I'll create some basic sketches for you to review and approve before beginning the artwork. Once your sketches are approved, you will have unlimited digital design rounds. Essentially I will create digital mock.ups of exactly what your invitation suite will look like once it's totally finished. You will have the opportunity to leave your feedback on every single design round, making sure that every.single.little.detail is accounted for!

FOURTH STEP: Printing

Once you have approved the design, your stationery goodies will be sent off to tl1e printer & your envelope addressing will begin. I will provide you with a template to input all of your guests' addresses into.

FIFTH STEP: Comin’ To You

After I have your items back from the printer, I w:ill double check & review everything as well as finish up envelope addressing. Once every­thing is complete, I will carefully package up your items and have them sent to you to be assembled, posted & shipped! (But of course, you could also hire me to do these steps for you as well.)
